Our Model

From Awareness to Action — How We Create Impact

At Crimson Care, we follow a community-centered, hands-on approach that moves beyond conversation into real change. Here’s how we make it happen

Listen & Learn
We begin by understanding the needs of the community—what they know, what they’re missing, and what they’re ready for. This allows us to design sessions that feel relevant, respectful, and empowering.

Educate & Engage
We conduct interactive, age-appropriate workshops in schools and community centers—making menstrual education accessible, inclusive, and stigma-free.

Equip & Support
Through partnerships and fundraising, we provide access to menstrual products, hygiene kits, and educational materials. We also introduce sustainable options where appropriate.

Meet the Founder

Saanvi Basu founded Crimson Care with a simple but powerful vision — to break the silence around menstruation and replace stigma with education, dignity, and confidence.

As a student and young changemaker, Saanvi noticed how little open conversation there was about periods, even in schools and communities. Determined to change that, she began hosting small workshops and awareness sessions, which have since grown into Crimson Care — a movement dedicated to menstrual health education, hygiene access, and advocacy.

Saanvi’s leadership comes from both empathy and action. From designing interactive sessions to personally engaging with students, teachers, and parents, she’s built Crimson Care as more than an initiative — it’s a safe space where people can learn, ask questions, and feel seen.

Her belief is simple: “When we talk about periods openly, we create a world where no one feels ashamed of something so natural.”
